yet countered by a spat, or something like a pout
sourced from one's dignity (that is sugar-coated pride)
that is INSECURITY.

exhausted from the mind and visibly exuded
apparently clear, yet internally inexplicable,
an act that is fulfilling though unknowingly, harmful.
